Satsop Mini-Storage began in 2002.  At the time there was a budding economy and optimism growing throughout the community.  Steve Valentine saw a need for a storage unit company with a mobile component.  He realized the construction companies needed a safe and secure space to house their equipment.  He started constructing portable storage units with the thought of renting or selling them to construction companies in Grays Harbor.  The thought was to expand the area and eventually deliver past Aberdeen and Olympia to all of  East County and then to all of Western Washington.

As the units began to be built they were stored locally on a piece of property in downtown Satsop, WA.  As residents drove by they started asking if they could rent the units right where they were, and so began a thriving selfstorage company.  Now units are sold and delivered all over Washington State.  Many private customers use them as personal Home Storage as well as storage rentals.  Of course there are still a fair number of construction companies using the units as well.
